Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (VNIT Nagpur) is one of the thirty National Institutes of Technology in the country. It is an Institute of National Importance, named after Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. Earlier, the Institute was known as Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering (VRCE). It was established in the year 1960 under the scheme sponsored by Govt. of India and Govt. of Maharashtra. The vision of the institute is to contribute effectively to the national endeavor of producing quality human re-source of world-class standards by developing a sustainable technical education system to meet the changing needs of the country incorporating relevant social concerns and building an environment to create innovative technologies for the development of the nation.

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur JRF Advertisement Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB sponsored research project titled “Design Analysis and Testbed Development for Molecular Communication Systems”. Position : JRF (No. of Posts: 02).

Eligibility

Position:Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. AND M.Tech./M.E./M.S. degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent streams with first class. The GATE qualification (anytime in the past) is mandatory. Candidates, whose M.E./M.Tech. results are awaited, can also apply subject to completion of degree at the time of joining. Desirable Qualification: Good academic record and knowledge Digital Communication, embedded systems, microcontroller.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Stipend: Rs 31,000/- p.m. consolidated (for first 2 years),
• Rs 35,000/- p.m. consolidated (for 3rd year)
