National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, formerly Regional Engineering College, Rourkela is a publicly funded institute of higher learning for engineering, science and technology located in the steel city of Rourkela, Odisha, India. Job Description:To carry out cutting edge research in computational biophysics using multi-disciplinary approaches. The student will also pursue Ph.D at NIT Rourkela on a topic related to the project work.

Eligibility
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Essential: NET/GATE qualified with M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA.
Desirable Qualification: First division throughout career is preferred. Experience in working in computational projects and familiarity with programming languages such as c+ +/FORTRAN/Python is desirable.
Experience / Software /Skillset: Exceptionally good candidates appearing for final semester M.Sc. examination in the above-mentioned disciplines may also apply. However, such candidates have to produce NET/GATE qualification certificates within one year for admission into Ph.D program.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Year 1 & 2 Rs. 31,000/- (Per month) +HRA @ NA%(If Applicable)
- Year 3 Rs. 35,000/- (Per month) +HRA @ NA% (If Applicable)
