University of Delhi Inviting Applications for the following Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Description

Applications are invited to fill one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post vacancy under the Scheme for Transformational & Advanced Research in Sciences (STARS)-Ministry of Education, Project. Title: “Wheat metallome analysis and development of mineral micronutrient-related gene- specific molecular markers for biofortification programs”.

Principal Investigator: Dr Shailender Kumar Verma.

Position

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Environmental Studies or any branch of Biological/ Life Sciences with at least 55% marks. The candidate must have a qualified NET/GATE or equivalent national-level examination.

Desirable: Prior experience working on plants and hands-on experience in biochemistry/bioinformatics/ molecular biology techniques.

Duration: One year and extendable up to the project tenure on the performance, assessment, and availability of the grant.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Salary: Rs 31,000/- per month + HRA as per rules.
