Applications are invited from eligible candidates with excellent academic background and proficiency in computational modelling and analysis for the position of Research Associate (RA) in the following research project in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Hyderabad.Funding agency – Industry sponsor: Savi Infrastructures and Properties Pvt. Ltd., Pune, India.
Title of the research projects : “Attenuation of vibration and earth pressure in retaining walls supporting high-speed railway embankments using EPS Geofoam”.

Eligibility
Research Associate (RA) – 1 Post Essential qualifications: Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical
Engineering (or allied areas).
Desirable qualifications : Expertise in numerical modelling and analysis
Hands-on experience using FEM packages Plaxis and Abaqus
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Track record of authoring high-quality research publications.
Key responsibilities : *Computational modelling and analysis
*Constitutive modelling of geomaterials
*User subroutines for cyclic load simulations
*Analysis of soil-structure interactions
*Design and optimization of geostructural components
*Documentation of results and research publications
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Research Associate (RA) Fellowship – 58,000/- + HRA@27%
