Description
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, an esteemed autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate-1. This role is part of a project focused on the spatial interactome of organelles in muscle aging, with research areas including mitochondria, cell biology, and molecular biology. Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in any area of Life Sciences. Those who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. degree may also apply. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of conducting high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. program. Experience in cell biology, molecular techniques, genetics, developmental biology, omics analysis, and research analytics is desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs.58,000/- per month + 9% HRA for candidates with a Ph.D. certificate.
- Rs.42,000/- per month + 9% HRA for candidates awaiting their Ph.D. degree, provided they submit a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.
