Description
The National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT Andhra Pradesh) is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the Chips-to-Startup (C2S) scheme. This opportunity is available in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, with Dr. Kiran Kumar Gurrala as the Principal Investigator and Dr. Puli Kishore Kumar as the Co-Principal Investigator. The project focuses on developing an Energy Efficient Mesh Architecture Based Indigenous Neuromorphic Processor for Extreme Edge IoT Applications.

Eligibility
Candidates must have a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related fields. For UR/EWS/OBC-NCL categories, a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (CGPA of 6.5) is required at either UG or PG level. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, 55% aggregate marks (CGPA of 6.0) is essential. Alternatively, candidates from Centrally funded Technical Institutes (CFTI) must have 75% aggregate marks (CGPA of 8.0) for UR/EWS/OBC-NCL and 70% (CGPA of 7.5) for SC/ST/PWD. Candidates should also qualify in National Eligibility Tests like CSIR-GATE. Preferred skills include expertise in EDA tools, VLSI, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, and Embedded systems.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA for the 1st & 2nd Year
- Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA for the 3rd to 5th Year
