The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala, is a technology-oriented institute of higher education established by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India in Agartala. It was founded as Tripura Engineering College in 1965 and declared a NIT in 2006. It is a technical institute in India along with all other NITs and IITs. Event Introduction

The growing corona virus pandemic has shooked the world’s economy. The potential of the scientific community and the private sector to develop and manufacture vaccines in a limited time frame has become the major highlight in forefront against the pandemic. India has performed well with lead in vaccine production, and public heath care. This seminar aims to actively engage in research discussions and professional development for the next generation workforce to develop their skills to innovate in the field of virology, vaccines, and public health care

Who can Apply?

The workshop is open to the UG students, PG students, Ph.D. scholars research associates of Science background from different colleges and universities. Interested students will be allowed to present their work in a session dedicated for students, with a presentation of 10 minutes maximum. The best presentation will be awarded with credits. The guidelines for presentation: Students should prepare a 10 minutes presentation in PDF or PPT format on the work they are carrying out in the respective institutes. Maximum of 6 students will be allowed for presentation based on internal selection procedure.
