The Tariff Authority for Major Ports, Mumbai, an Autonomous Body under the administrative control of Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India invites application for filling up following posts on Transfer on deputation basis

TAMP invites applications for filling up of one post each of ‘Assistant Director’, one post of ‘Assistant’ and one post of ‘Stenographer Grade (D)’ on deputation basis. The details are given below:-

Eligibility

Assistant Director
Educational & other qualifications (i)Essential: (a). Qualifications recognized for enrollment in the Register of Members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or the institute of Company Secretaries of India or Graduate/Post Graduate in commerce with MBA in Finance. (b) 3 (Three) years experience in costing/finance /tariff fixation matters relating preferably to ports or other Regulatory Authorities.

Assistant (i) Essential: (a) Bachelor Degree from a recognized University; (b) Atleast 5 (five) years service in the immediate lower grade in the Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous Body/ Public Sector undertaking/ Major Ports. (c) Should have good knowledge of office procedure, Rules and Regulations relating to Establishment and General Administration work and the capacity to examine the cases thoroughly with good qualities of noting and drafting. (ii) Desirable Should have proficiency in typing on electronic typewriter/ working on computer/ personal computer.

Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (i) Essential : (a) Matriculation or equivalent; (b) Speed of 80 words per minutes in Stenography (English or Hindi) and 40 words per minutes in typewriting. (ii) Desirable Should be well versed in the operation of Computer /Personal Computer / familiarity with wordstar / word processing and similar software programmes.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Assistant Director Pay Band PB-3 [(Rs 15,600-39,100) Plus Grade Pay Rs 5400/- (Pre-revised)] 7th CPC Pay matrix Level-10 (Rs 56,100-1,77,500)
• Assistant Pay Band PB-2 [(Rs9,300-34,800) plus Grade Pay Rs 4,200/- (Pre-revised)] 7th CPC Pay matrix Level – 6 (Rs 35,400-1,12,400)
• Stenographer Grade ‘D’ Pay Band PB-1 [(Rs 5,200-20,200) Plus Grade Pay Rs 2,400/- (Pre-revised)] 7th CPC Pay matrix Level – 4 Rs 25,500-81,100)
