Description
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position at SVNIT is a temporary role aimed at contributing to a significant research project in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The project, led by Dr. Neeraj Srivastava, focuses on developing advanced materials for aerospace applications. This role offers the selected candidate the potential to enroll in a Ph.D. program at SVNIT, subject to the institute’s norms. The project is initially set for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, Production, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Applied Mechanics, Aerospace engineering, or related fields. A B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Aerospace, Metallurgy, or allied branches is also required. Selection is through GATE or national level examinations conducted by central government departments and agencies.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA (16%) as per revised DST-JRF/SRF norms.
