The Regional Centre for Biotechnology is conducting a walk-in interview for the position of Research Associate – I. The project focuses on the role of myosin heavy chain-slow in skeletal muscle development and disease. This research is funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and offers an initial contract of one year, extendable based on project requirements.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent degree in Life Sciences with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Experience with laboratory rodent models, molecular biology, and biochemistry research techniques is essential. Desirable qualifications include first author publications, research experience related to metabolism, and strong written and oral presentation skills.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 58,000/- + 27% HRA per month
