This project aims to enhance the performance, reliability, and sustainability of compression ignition engines powered by various biodiesel blends.
Description
The project titled “Development of an Integrated Multi-Parameter Engine Health Monitoring Framework for Combustion, Emission, Vibration and Lubricant Degradation Analysis in Compression Ignition Engines Powered by Various Biodiesel Blends” seeks to address the limitations of current engine health monitoring systems. By integrating multiple parameters such as combustion characteristics, emissions, vibration signatures, and lubricant degradation, the project aims to facilitate early fault detection, predictive maintenance, and optimized engine management under varying biodiesel operating conditions.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech or M.E./MTech or equivalent in Mechanical or any allied branch relevant to the project with first-class qualifications. The age limit is preferably below 40 years as of the date of the interview, with relaxation provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per institute norms. Candidates with hands-on experience in fabrication techniques and knowledge of thermodynamic modelling, simulation, and modelling tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB, and SolidWorks will be given preference.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 20,000/- per month
