Description
The PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur is seeking a dedicated Junior Research Fellow to join a research project titled “Development of Compact Thermo-Electric Generator integrated PEM Electrolyser for onboard Hydrogen Production for Co-firing in Compression Ignition Engine: A Hybrid Approach.” This project is funded by the SERB-ANRF under the sanction order CRG/2023/004717. The research focuses on developing a hybrid system that integrates a thermo-electric generator with a PEM electrolyser to produce hydrogen for use in compression ignition engines. This initiative supports the National Green Hydrogen Mission and aims to enhance fuel efficiency while reducing emissions.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech with M.E./MTech or equivalent in Mechanical or any allied branch relevant to the project, with a first-class degree. The age limit is set at 35 years, with age relaxation available for OBC, SC, ST, and women candidates. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in fabrication techniques and proficiency in thermodynamic modelling, as well as simulation tools like ANSYS, COMSOL, and MATLAB.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- per month + 18% HRA = Rs. 43,660/-
