The Omeo Kumar Das Institute of Social Change and Development (OKDISCD) is seeking a director who can provide visionary leadership and attract competent faculty to the institute. Eligibility
The ideal candidate should possess considerable research and administrative experience as an eminent social scientist. A commendable publication record based on independent research work is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to coordinate and lead teamwork in research projects, mobilize resources from funding agencies, and organize research training, workshops, and seminars. Experience in collaborating with other research organizations is also desirable. The applicant must be below 60 years of age as of 1st September 2026.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- The scale of pay offered is equivalent to that of a Professor (UGC Seventh Central Pay Commission) plus a special allowance.
