National Power Training Institute (NPTI) has been set up by the Government of India under the Ministry of Power, to function as the National Apex Body for Human Resources Development of Indian Power Sector. NPTI (Eastern Region), Durgapur is one of the nine Regional Institutes of NPTI established in 1968. The Corporate Office of NPTI is located at NPTI Complex, Sector –33, Faridabad – 121 003 (Haryana) and other regional institutes located at Neyveli (Tamilnadu), Badarpur (New Delhi), Nagpur (Maharashtra), Guwahati (assam), Nangal (Punjab), Faridabad (Haryana) and Bengaluru (Karnataka). NPTI’s institutes are fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art-training infrastructure and also expert faculty with long years of professional and teaching experience with adequate research and development exposure. These Institutes are conducting a number of training programs for Power Engineers, Operators and Technicians in the areas of Thermal and Hydro Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution System and other related areas.

NPTI (Eastern Region) Durgapur plays an important role in the field of HRD in the Power Sector as a leading Institute in the Eastern Region and till March 2010 has trained about 30000 Power Sector personnel in technical and managerial skill development programs including various professional and academic courses.

NPTI (ER) needs personnel purely on contractual basis for DDU-GKY project for the positions of (i) Project Head-cum-Operation Head (ii) Q-Team Head, (iii) Community Mobilization Head (iv) MIS Head / Specialist (v) Placement Executive (vi) Post Placement Specialist (vii) Trainer – Solar PV System and (viii) English Language-cum-Soft Skills & Life Skill Trainer. Eligibility

• Project Head-cum-Operation Head 01 Engineering Graduate in any discipline with MBA / PGDBM with minimum 6 years’ experience in DDUGKY Project. The applicant should be DDUGKY e-SOP Certified.
• Q-Team Head 01 Graduate in any discipline with minimum 3 years’ experience in DDUGKY Project. The applicant should be DDUGKY e-SOP Certified.
• Community Mobilization Head 01 Graduate in any discipline with minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Community mobilization in Govt, sponsored Skill Development Program.
• MIS Head / Specialist 01 Graduate in any discipline with good knowledge of MIS.
• Placement Executive 01 Graduate in any discipline with knowledge of Placement / Tracking etc.
• Post Placement Specialist 01 Graduate in any discipline with knowledge of Placement / Tracking etc.
• Trainer – Solar PV System 03 ITI / Diploma (Electrical/Electronics) with three years of experience in relevant field or B. Tech (Electrical/Electronics) with two years of experience in relevant field or M.Sc. (Physics) with experience in relevant field. The educational qualification may be relaxed in case of extraordinary relevant field experience.
• English Language-cum-Soft Skills & Life Skill Trainer 01 Graduate in English with spoken skills and minimum 1 year of teaching experience of English & Social Skills/Soft Skills/Life Skills.

• Remuneration will be based on Qualification & Experience

NPTI (Eastern Region) Durgapur needs the following personnel purely on contractual basis for a period of 1-year for DDU-GKY project, which is extendable for further 1-year based on performance. Candidates having required qualification can appear in Walk-in-Interview on given dates at the Institute. Remuneration will be based on Qualification & Experience. Candidates are requested to attend the Interview along with Bio-data and xerox copies of relevant documents /testimonials in support of eligibility criteria . The below mentioned positions are for DDU-GKY Project only

(1) Date of Interview for Position at Sl No- 1,2,3 & 4 – 08th November 2021 & Positions at Sl No 5,6,7,8 – 09th November 2021.
(2) Candidates are required to produce original Certificates/Testimonials for verification before appearing in the Interview.
(3) For Sl. No. 3 to 8, knowledge of DDUGKY Project will be an added advantage.
(4) No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
(5) NPTI reserves the right to cancel fully or partially the selections.
