Description

The Department of Civil Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for Project Associate position to work in a DST funded project: Design and Development of cost-effective floating solar energy generation technologies and infrastructure. This is a collaborative project with IIT Bhubaneswar and IIT Palakkad.

Job Description:
Assess the effect of floating structure / solar panels on water quality
Assess the effect of water quality on floating structures
Monitoring the water level fluctuations and evaporation in the water body

Position

Eligibility

B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering and M.E/M.Tech in Environmental Engineering / Water Resources Engineering / Hydrology. Two years of research experience in water quality analysis is desirable.

Duration: 2 Years (Initially for 6 months, which can be extended subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds).

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Project Associate Consolidated Salary: Rs 31,000 + 16% HRA per month
