National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand (NITUK) is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technologies in the country. Since its inception, this Institute has grown many fields and has established itself as one of the best Technical Educational Institutes. NITUK is established in 2009 under the Act of Parliament by Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya). At present, the Institute have about 594 undergraduates, 86 postgraduates and 106 Ph.D. scholars. The Institute offers full time B. Tech. and M.Tech. Program in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering with an intake of 65 (including 5 DASA students) and 15 students respectively in each branch.

National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand, With reference to the advertisement No. 10/2023; dated 31/01/2024,Walk-In-Interview (Hybrid Mode) shall be conducted for the position of Projector Associate-I/Junior Research Fellow for the project titled “VLSI Design and Implementation of Imagined Speech based Neuroprosthesis: An Application in Healthcare System” funded under Chips to Startup (C2S) Programme, MeiTY, Govt. of India under the supervision of Dr. Hariharan Muthusamy, Principal Investigator in the Department of Electronics Engineering, NIT Uttarakhand. The details of post, essential qualifications and fellowship are as under:-The Junior Research Fellow will have option to register for Ph.D. program of institute; the candidate must meet the essential qualifications and qualify written examination & interview of Ph.D. admission of institute.

Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Educational Qualifications: M.E/M.Tech./M.S in Microelectronics and VLSI Design/Communication Systems/Biomedical Engineering/Digital System and Signal Processing/Instrumentation and Signal Processing/ Signal Processing and Control/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Communication and Signal Processing/Digital Signal Processing/ Signal Processing or allied areas with minimum of 1st class in B.E/B.Tech & M.E/M.Tech./M.S In addition GATE/NET-JRF qualification is mandatory. Age: Preferably below 35 Years
Project Associate – I
Educational Qualifications: B.E/B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering or allied areas. Age: Preferably below 35 Years.
Project Assistant
Educational Qualifications: B.Sc. in Computer Science/Electronics/Physics/Mathematics or 3 Years Diploma in Electronics and Communication /Computer Science /Electrical and Electronics or allied areas Age: Preferably below 35 Years.
Skill requirements
Knowledge of Custom/ASIC/FPGA based VLSI design and EDA tools
Knowledge of MATLAB, Hardware Description Language and Python programming
Good Technical and Communication Skills.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
1.Rs. 31,000/- pm + 8% HRA as per norms. 2.Rs. 25,000/- pm + 8% HRA as per norms 3.Rs. 20,000/- pm + 8% HRA as per norms
