The National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, is seeking applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a project titled “Engineering Fluorine-Free Superomniphobic Surfaces: A New Horizon Towards Sustainable and Environmentally Benign Liquid Repellence.” This project is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation, Government of India, and offers a unique opportunity to engage in innovative research in the field of surface chemistry and nanomaterials.

Position

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related subject with at least 55% marks. Prior research experience in surface chemistry, nanomaterials, or bioinspired surfaces is preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs 37,000 per month + 20% HRA for the first two years (as JRF)
• Rs 42,000 per month + 20% HRA for the third year (as SRF)
