National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, formerly Regional Engineering College, Rourkela is a publicly funded institute of higher learning for engineering, science and technology located in the steel city of Rourkela, Odisha, India.  Biju Patnaik Central Library (BPCL) of NIT Rourkela, named after the legendary industrialist and statesman, and the founding Chairman of Board of Governors of REC Rourkela, is functioning since 1965. It acts as main learning resource centre of the institute which constitutes robust collections in both print and electronic resources.

Eligibility

Position: Public Relations Officer
Essential: Master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication/ Public Relations or its equivalent. or Master’s degree in English or Hindi & Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism/ Mass Communication / Public Relations with at least 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute. and Proficiency in the use of latest computer and mobile applications, M.S. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social Media applications. Experience – Minimum five (05) years of relevant experience of working in a Government Institution/ University/ Industry/ Media House in the preparation of press-brief, handling print and electronic media, stakeholders / client meet, relationship management, branding and publication of newsletters, bulletins

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 60000/- PM
