Description
The National Institute of Technology Raipur is seeking applications from eligible Indian citizens for the position of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs). This recruitment is part of a project sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) under the National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS). The project focuses on climate-responsive aquifer mapping and a socioeconomic approach to groundwater risk. The selected candidates will engage in extensive field-based research in Ladakh, contributing to vital environmental studies.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a degree in M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc./M.Sc. Tech. in disciplines such as Applied Geology, Hydrogeology, Geophysics, Water Resources Engineering, Geomatics, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing & GIS, or other relevant allied fields. Preference will be given to those with academic or research experience in hydrogeology, groundwater assessment, aquifer mapping, GIS/Remote Sensing, geophysics, water resources, or climate studies.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- ₹37,000/- per month + 20% HRA for JRF, as per applicable project/GoI norms.
