The institute is seeking a Research Associate-1 to contribute to a project focused on deciphering the sequence and structural signatures of the product specificity of Protein Arginine Methyl Transferases in health and disease. This role is pivotal in advancing our understanding of cell and molecular systems biology.

Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in any area of Life Sciences. Those who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. degree may also apply. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of conducting high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. program. Experience in cell and molecular biology studies at a systems level, including Omics-Proteomics, PTM-proteomics, NGS sequencing, and tissue microarrays, is essential. Experience with primary cell lines and CRISPR Cas9 genome editing is desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 58,000/- per month + 10% HRA for candidates with a Ph.D. certificate.
- Rs. 42,000/- per month + 10% HRA for candidates awaiting their Ph.D. degree, provided they submit a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.
