Description

The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position at NIT Jamshedpur offers a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge research project sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). The project aims to explore innovative solutions in the field of e-mobility, specifically focusing on the development of high-efficiency Gan-based propulsion drives.   • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a B.Tech. and MTech. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a first-class grade (6.5 out of 10) or 60% marks. A GATE qualification is desirable, and preference will be given to those specializing in Power Electronics and Drives, Electrical Machines and Drives, or equivalent disciplines. Knowledge of Sic and Gan wide-bandgap semiconductors, gate driver design and analysis, and electric vehicles is advantageous.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • 1st and 2nd year: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA
  • 3rd year: Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA
