Description

The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, is seeking a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join a project aimed at advancing human resource development in Unmanned Aircraft Systems. This project is sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) and offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative research and development activities related to drone technology. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in fundamental research, simulation, and system development activities.

Project Details

Project Title- “Capacity building for human resource development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and related Technology), Project Reg. ID: NITD/SRCC/NC/ECE/2023/03”.

Duration: Till 31st March 2028 or till the completion of the project, whichever will appear first.

Principal Investigator (CI) & Co-CIs Dr. Nilanjan Chattaraj (CI), Dr. Jayati Dey (Co-CI), Dr. Aritro Dey (Co-CI), Dr. Deepak Kumar (Co-CI). 

Eligibility

  • Research Associate III: Ph.D. in Engineering from the Department of Aerospace Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering from any recognized Institute/University. Mechanical Mechanisms/Structural mechanics/Fluid Mechanics/Aeromechanics/ Aerodynamics/ Flight Mechanics/Mechanical Vibration/Mechatronics/Control System/Embedded System/ Hardware-Software Co design/Robotics/Sensors/Actuators/Transducers.
  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Mechanical Mechanisms/Structural mechanics/Fluid Mechanics/Aeromechanics/ Aerodynamics/ Flight Mechanics/Mechanical Vibration/Mechatronics/Control System/Embedded System/ Hardware Software Co-design/Robotics/Sensors/Actuators/Transducers

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Research Associate III: INR 67,000/- per month (consolidated)
  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF): INR 37,000/- per month (consolidated)
