National Institute of Technology Delhi (NITD) is one of the thirty NIT (s) established in the year 2010 by an act of parliament and has been declared as an Institute of National importance.NIT Delhi is an autonomous Institute which functions under the aegis of Ministry of Education, Government of India. It aims to provide instructions and research facilities in various disciplines of Engineering, Science and Technology, Management, Social Sciences and Humanities for advance learning and dissemination of knowledge. NIT Delhi has started its academic session in 2010 with three undergraduate B.Tech degree programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Applications are invited from the Indian citizens for the post of JRF purely on contract basis under the DST funded project entitled “In-situ Digital Holographic Tomography of Subsurface Microstructure of Artwork”. Eligibility

Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Essential Qualifications JRF – Post graduation in Sciences (Physics or optics)/ Graduation or post graduation in Engineering; qualified with GATE/NET/JRF/National level examination/Own fellowship.

Desirable: Candidates with an experience in dealing the optics/prototyping of optical instrumentation, imaging, along with proficiency in MATLAB, LabVIEW will be preferred. Candidates from other branch may also apply if they have hands-on experience in interferometry/Digital holography/designing and development of the optical instrument/ set-up of any optical technique.

Relaxation on qualification and age SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates will get relaxation as per Govt. of India Rules.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Salary/Emoluments As per DST norms (JRF – Rs. 31000/- + HRA)
