Description
The National Institute of Technology Calicut is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Project Associate-I. This position is part of a research project sponsored by ANRF, aimed at developing innovative carbon microheaters. The selected candidate will work in a hybrid mode, combining both on-site and remote work, and will be engaged on a contract basis with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 or 60% marks. Alternatively, candidates with an MSc in Chemistry, Physics, or Nanoscience, or a bachelor’s degree in the relevant fields with the same academic criteria, are eligible. Experience in laser graphitisation and 3D modelling is desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- ₹37,000 + 20% for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET or GATE.
- ₹30,000 + 20% for other candidates.
