Job Description

Applications are invited from interested candidates for one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work for the project “National Centre for Development of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes for Clean Coal Technologies” – DST funded sponsored research project (TMD/CERI/CleanCoal/2017/36) on “Analytical modeling of laser-assisted milling and laser assisted turning” in collaboration with ARCI – Balapur under the supervision of Dr Thella Babu Rao (Principal Investigator), Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Andhra Pradesh, Tadepalligudem.12 months of Duration.

Eligibility

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Essential Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M.E/M.Tech. in relevant specializations with a minimum 60% marks (or a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale) with a GATE Qualification and with two years of research experience.
Desired Skills & Experience : Finite element analysis, knowledge of ABAQUS FEA simulation software, Machining process, soft computing techniques, and machine learning.

Remuneration

• Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA (As per Govt. of India norms)
