The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences. It was established in the year 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed as Ministry of Education in August 2020). In 2012, IISER Pune was declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament.

Job Description

Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following post purely on temporary and contractual basis, Applications for Research Associate positions IISER Pune. Funding by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) project code 31221576. Initially for a period of eight months extendable for further period subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.

Eligibility

Research Associate
Minimum educational Qualification : Ph.D. in Mathematics Preference : Candidates having thesis work on the theoretical analysis of nonlinear elliptic and parabolic partial differential equations (PDE) will be preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs.47,000/- + 24% (House Rent Allowance)
• Rs. 49,000/- + 24% For candidates having 1 year of Post-doctoral experience.
• Rs. 54,000/- + 24% (House Rent Allowance) For candidates having 2 years’ of Post-doctoral experience.
