The Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad is inviting applications for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Field Assistant. These roles are part of a research project titled “Development of Sustainable Composite Materials from Agro-Waste and Natural Fibers for Affordable Housing,” sponsored by NBCC (India) Limited. Description

The project aims to develop sustainable composite materials using agro-waste and natural fibers, focusing on affordable housing solutions. This initiative is a collaboration between MNNIT Allahabad and NBCC (India) Limited, a Government of India enterprise. The positions are temporary, with a maximum duration of three years, and are governed by the funding agency’s rules and the service conditions of the Office of the Dean (Research & Consultancy) at MNNIT Allahabad.

Eligibility

For the Junior Research Fellow position, candidates must have a graduate degree in Civil Engineering and an M.Tech degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 60% marks or a CPI of 6.5. Knowledge of civil engineering software and a valid GATE/NET score or equivalent national level examination is desirable.

The Field Assistant position requires a three-year diploma or graduate degree in Civil Engineering and Technology or equivalent, with a minimum of 60% marks or a CPI of 6.5. Candidates should have one year of field experience and good computer skills.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Junior Research Fellow: ₹31,000 (Consolidated)
• Field Assistant: ₹18,000 (Consolidated)
