Applications are invited from the Indian nationals, giving full details of educational qualifications and experience, for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in research project entitled “Enhanced selective recovery of selenium/tellurium from copper anode slime using secondary wastes” funded by S&T-Ministry of Mines, Government of India, under the guidance of Dr. S. Suresh (Principal Investigator), Department of Chemical Engineering, MA-NIT, Bhopal – 462 003. The post is purely temporary, co-terminus with the project. It may be extended only in case project duration is extended by authority and recommended by PI for the same. The duration of project is 3 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Initial appointment will be for one-year, extendable upto 3 years subjected to satisfactory performance of the JRF and extension of the project. This is a full-time assignment. Looking for a candidate who has experience on “Enhanced selective recovery of selenium/tellurium from copper anode slime using secondary wastes”. Following research information include, but are not limited to Selective recovery of selenium (Se)/tellurium (Te) from copper anode slime using secondary wastes Morphology and element distribution in the copper anode slime and Se/Te Kinetic, thermodynamic and phase identification studies will be conducted on Se/Te recovery.

Eligibility
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Essential Qualification: M.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Materials&Metallurgy/Smart materials/Energy/Nanomaterials/ Biotechnology or other relevant degree with first class. Preference will be given with relevance experience of Chemical Engineering/Materials & Metallurgy. Desirable Qualification: GATE qualified.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
Rs.37000 per month +HRA for one year and 42000 per month +HRA for another two more years (As per applicable S&T-Ministry of Mines, GoI, India norms).
