Description

Eligibility
Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related disciplines. Alternatively, a B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Materials Science, Energy Systems, or related fields from a recognized university is required. A good academic record is essential. Desirable qualifications include CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or any other national-level examination recognized by ANRF. Experience in fungal cultivation, biomass processes, carbon capture, adsorption studies, material characterization, environmental biotechnology/engineering, and scientific writing is preferred.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- For candidates with CSIR-level qualification: JRF – ₹37,000 + HRA per month for the first two years; SRF – ₹42,000 + HRA per month for the third year, subject to satisfactory performance.
- For candidates without the above qualification: ₹30,000 + HRA per month for the first two years; ₹33,000 + HRA per month for the third year, subject to satisfactory performance.
