DRDO was formed in 1958 from the amalgamation of the then already functioning Technical Development Establishment (TDEs) of the Indian Army and the Directorate of Technical Development & Production (DTDP) with the Defence Science Organisation (DSO). DRDO was then a small organisation with 10 establishments or laboratories. Over the years, it has grown multi-directionally in terms of the variety of subject disciplines, number of laboratories, achievements and stature. Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences is a laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation. Located in Timarpur, Delhi, it is involved in Nuclear medicine research and responding to nuclear accidents and explosions

Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, a premier Institute of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications from young and meritorious Indian nationals, who desire to pursue defence related research as Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Junior. Selection will be made on the basis of Online-interview (through Video Conferencing) of shortlisted candidates only.

Eligibility

• DRDO Research Associate (RA)
  • Life Sciences PhD* in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology
  • Chemistry PhD in Chemistry* (Experience in organo-metallic chemistry / synthesis of metal organic frame works will be given preference)
  • Pharma PhD* in Pharmacology/Regulatory Pharmacology/Pharmaceutical Sciences (Experience in animal handling and pharmacokinetics will be given preference)
• DRDO Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
  • Chemistry First Class M.Sc. in Chemistry with NET/GATE (JRF/LS) qualification from any approved National agency
  • Life Sciences First Class M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech.* in Life Sciences/ Biomedical Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with NET/GATE (JRF/LS) qualification from any approved National agency
  • Pharma First Class M.Pharma/M.Sc. in Pharma with NET/GPAT (JRF/LS) qualification from any approved National agency
  • Physics First Class M.Sc. in Physics with NET/GATE (JRF/LS) qualification from any approved National agency.

*Only those candidates who have been awarded PhD degree/provisional certificate are eligible to apply. M.Tech. is exempted from NET/GATE as per guidelines.)

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• DRDO Research Associate (RA) Rs. 54,000+ HRA as per DRDO rules
• DRDO Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Rs. 31,000+ HRA as per DRDO rules
