Information Kerala Mission (IKM), an autonomous institution under Local Self Government Department, Government of kerala has been setup with a mandate to strengthen the local self-governance through ICT applications. It is largest and most comprehensive local body computerization initiative in the country, which envisage computerizing and networking the 1209 local self government institutions in Kerala. It addresses the entire gamut of issues concerning local body governance, decentralized planning, and economic development at local economic development.

Applications are invited for the posts of Deputy Director (Research& Development) and Deputy Director (Operation & Maintenance) in the Information Kerala Mission on Deputation / Contract basis.

Eligibility

Position: Deputy Director (Research& Development)
First class B.Tech in Computer Science or MCA after BCA or MSc. Computer Science after BSc Computer Science or MSc. Software Engg. or Equivalent.
Experience 15 years of experience in Software development, RDBMS, standards and SOU; managing software development projects through its entire life cycle; comprehensive understanding of object – oriented and service- oriented application development At least 5 years at a senior management level in delivering Information Technology driven projects Desirable: Open source application development Experience shall be relaxed in case of deserving candidates

Position: Deputy Director (Operation & Maintenance)
First class in B.Tech / MCA/ Msc. Computer Science / MSc. Software Engg. or equivalent.
Experience 15 years experience in managing e-governance driven projects and infrastructure development and management of which least 5 years at a senior management level. Desirable: Experience in System and Network Administration Experience shall be relaxed in case of deserving candidates

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Deputy Director (Research& Development) 1,00,000/- for contract basis recruitment
• Deputy Director (Operation & Maintenance) 80,000/- for contract basis recruitment
