The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee is seeking a qualified Research Associate for a consultancy/research project focused on hydrology assessment, dam break analysis, and emergency action planning for ten dams in the Salinity Ingress Prevention Circle, Rajkot. This project is sponsored by the NSWRK, Government of Gujarat, and aims to enhance disaster management strategies and hazard potential assessments.

Project Details
Project Title: “Revised hydrology assessment, Dam break analysis, Emergency action planning, Hazard potential and O&M manual for ten dams of SIPC, Rajkot.”.
Duration: Up to 30.06.2027 or till the end of the project, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess an MBA in Disaster Management with a minimum of two years of experience in preparing disaster management or emergency action plans. Proficiency in GIS and disaster risk reduction is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in preparing Emergency Action Plans (EAP) for dams.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 75,000 plus HRA, as per institute norms
