Indian Institute of Technology Patna is one of the new IITs established by an Act of the Indian Parliament on August 06, 2008. Patna which was known as Patliputra has been a center of knowledge since long has been attracting visitors and scholars from many parts of the world such as China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka, among others. Eligibility
Ph.D (Chemistry/Physics/Chemical engineering/related branches)
Or
Three years’ relevant experience after M.Sc/M.Tech (Chemistry/Physics/Chemical engineering/related branches) with at least one publication (in SCI journal).
Desirable Qualification:
The candidate should have strong theoretical and computational background in the area of statistical mechanics and molecular simulation with good publication records. The candidate should have strong programming skills (in C/Fortran/Matlab/Python). Working/research experience in the field of surface and interfacial properties of complex molecules will be given preference
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
Research Associate-I Rs. 47000/- plus HRA (As per GoI rule)
