Indian Institute of Technology Patna is one of the new IITs established by an Act of the Indian Parliament on August 06, 2008. Patna which was known as Patliputra has been a center of knowledge since long has been attracting visitors and scholars from many parts of the world such as China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Sri Lanka, among others. Eligibility
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
M.E/M.Tech in Geotechnical/ Mining Engineering/ Rock Mechanics.
The candidate desirably should have M.E/M.Tech degree with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks.
The upper age limit for applying for the JRF position shall be 32 years. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/women/PD will be given as per the GoI rules. Experience of working on laboratory based experimental work and coupled THM modelling will be given preference
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Consolidated Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- per month
