Description

The IIT Jammu is seeking a dedicated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join their research team. The selected candidate will work on a project focused on Organic Synthesis, contributing to innovative research under the guidance of experienced faculty members. Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Organic Synthesis with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute/university. Additionally, candidates should have qualified in any of the national eligibility tests/exams conducted by central government departments and their agencies, such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc. Desirable qualifications include expertise in Organic Chemistry, particularly in organic synthesis and asymmetric synthesis, along with knowledge of spectroscopic methods for analysing organic compounds. The upper age limit for applicants is 28 years, with a relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/women and physically handicapped candidates.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of INR 37,000 per month, plus 20% HRA.
