Description

The ANRF Junior Research Fellow (ANRF JRF) position at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is part of a cutting-edge project focused on enhancing rainfall and flood forecasting across India. The selected candidate will work on developing bias correction and downscaling methods to improve precipitation estimates and use hydrological models to simulate flood responses. Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the ANRF JRF position:

  • MTech. in Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Hydrology, Environment Engineering, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing & GIS, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, or equivalent specializations.
  • Must be GATE/NET qualified.
  • B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering & Technology.
  • Candidates awaiting their MTech. degree results are also eligible to apply.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • ₹37,000 per month plus 20% HRA for the first two years.
  • ₹42,000 per month plus 20% HRA for the third year.
  • HRA is admissible in lieu of non-availability of hostel accommodation.
