Job Description

JRF will carry out the experiments to create water-repellent superhydrophobic coatings. JRF will characterize the coating by using different techniques. JRF will examine the applications of prepared coatings and compare the results with existing mathematical models and will propose new models based on the experimental observations. JRF will also write the research papers and patents. Besides, JRF shall do all technical work as assigned by the Principal Investigator from time to time.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under (Name of Funding Agency) Project Applications are invited under the sponsored project. The details of the project are as under:

Title of the Project :”Conservation of the metallic cultural heritage assets by waterborne superhydrophobic and anti-dust coatings“.

Principal Investigator: Prof. Aditya Kumar

Tenure of Project :Maximum two years or till the end of project (21-04-2024), whichever is earlier.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)- 1 Post

Eligibility

Essential Qualification: B. Tech (in Chemical Engineering) with a minimum of 70% marks/CGPA of 7.5 (on a 10 point scale) + GATE qualified. OR
B. Tech (in Chemical Engineering) and M.Tech (in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Petroleum/Fuel Engineering, Environment Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Ceramic Engineering) with first class/division or a minimum of 60% marks/CGPA of 6.5 (on a 10 point scale) + GATE qualified.
OR
B. Tech./M.Tech (in Chemical Engineering) degree from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) having a CGPA of 8.0 or above.

Desirable Qualification: M.Tech & B. Tech in Chemical Engineering + GATE qualified.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

    • Rs.31,000 + 16% HRA
