Project Details

Project Title: “Development of Innovative Extraction Method for Safer Extraction of Coal Seam by Underground Method with Higher Productivity and Percentage of Extraction using Continuous Mining System”.

Duration: Twelve Months (12) or Co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

Principle Investigator: Prof. Arka Jyoti Das

Eligibility

B.E. / B.Tech. in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering. M.Sc./M.Sc. Tech./MTech. in Mining Engineering. Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, Geological Technology, Tunnelling & Underground Space Technology, Rock Engineering and Underground Structures. The candidates must have qualified GATE/CSIR-UGC NET.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- per month + admissible HRA in case hostel accommodation is not available.
