Description
Non-invasive brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and eye-tracking
technologies have the potential to create new communication pathways for both healthy and disabled individuals. However, existing BCI systems have not yet achieved high enough performance to be widely used in practical applications. This may be addressed by a novel hybrid BCI user interface that combines BCI and gaze modalities, enabling users to make sequential decisions quickly and accurately with minimal effort. The first phase of this project aims to develop a proof-of-concept for a multimodal graphical user interface that maintains consistent positions of
command objects for different modalities.

Educational Qualification : Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Cognitive Science, or a related field. Strong background and prior publications in at least one of the following areas preferred: Human Computer Interaction, Brain-Computer Interfaces, Eye-tracking, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Science Research.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Postdoctoral Positions – ₹50000 + (HRA of ₹10000 if institute accommodation is not possible). The final salary may vary depending on the candidate’s level of experience.
