Description
The selected candidate is expected to work primarily in the field of Materials Science & Engineering and conduct several characterizations of archaeological ceramic samples using SEM, EDS, optical microscope, polarizing microscope, XRD, Archimedes principle, BET etc. The candidate may have to carry out some sintering experiments and compositional analysis. A candidate having prior experience in ceramics and characterizations are preferable.

Educational Qualification : B.Tech/M. Tech/M.Sc. in Materials Science/Materials Engineering/Metallurgy/Ceramic Science or Engineering/Archaeological Science or allied fields is essential. Candidates who have submitted their thesis are also eligible. Applicants who have cleared one of the National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, lISc, llSER etc. are preferred.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
Research Associate/Project Associate – Rs. 31,000 to Rs.35,000 Rs. per month depending on the eligibility (as per funding agency norms)
