IIT Dharwad has more than 70 ongoing projects for which project staff will be engaged at various levels as and when the need arises. IIT Dharwad invites young and dynamic individuals to work on these challenging projects.

IIT Dharwad is an Institute of National Importance created by an Act of Parliament in 2016. IIT Dharwad has been steadily establishing its operations in its present campus while at the same time, master plan development and construction of permanent campus infrastructure are also in progress. To cater the Institute’s temporary requirement under a project in the Department of Mechanical Materials & Aerospace Engineering.

Description

IIT Dharwad intends to hold an Online Selection Process for the following temporary position. Development of speech processing algorithms for automatic detection of depression and other mental health issues using signal processing, machine learning and deep learning approaches.Duration of the tenure: Maximum 03 years.

Eligibility

Position: Junior Research Fellow (On Contract) Essential Qualification: Post Graduate or Graduate degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through GATE.
b. The Selection process is through a National level examination
conducted by IIT.

Desirable Qualification: Strong programming skills, Knowledge in Signal Processing, Machine Learning and Deep learning.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• ₹31,000/-+ 16% House Rent Allowance per month
