Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the 23 IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India. Established as College of Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared as an Institution of National Importance under the “Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963” and was renamed as “Indian Institute of Technology Delhi”. It was then accorded the status of a Deemed University with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.

Advt. No. E-II/04/2024(W) Dated March 14,2024 IIT Delhi intends to conduct a Shortlisting-based Interview to engage the services of 01 Consultant for Sonipat Campus of IIT Delhi. The engagement will be purely on contract basis initially for a period of 01 year which can be extended upto maximum 03 years, subject to requirement and after review of satisfactory work performance based on functional need, at a consolidated remuneration as per details given below:

Essential Academics Qualification: (i) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree plus 02 years of relevant experience. (ii) Experience of having worked with large projects. (iii) Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications is a must. Expertise in using software relevant to the job profile. Roles and responsibilities: To monitor day to day electrical maintenance activities, coordination between user, maintenance agencies, Institute administration, other external agencies, etc.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
Consolidated Remuneration Rs. 50,000/- (Per month).
