Description

Applications are invited for Project Associate – I (PA-I) position (one) under the supervision of Prof. Sanjio S. Zade, Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata. The position is for only one year but may be extended up to the end of the project, depending on the performance of the candidate. The project work involves (i) the synthesis of conjugated small molecules and polymers, (ii) study of their photophysical properties and (iii) application in the photocatalytic reactions. The project is funded by SERB under CRG scheme.

Eligibility

Essential Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc. in Chemistry (preferably organic/inorganic specialization) / Masters in Material Science or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 8 or above (Desirable: CSIR UGC NET LS or GATE). Additional experience and qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with a prior research experience.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

31,000 INR per month + 24% HRA
