Applications are invited under the Sponsored project at Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy, Visakhapatnam. The details of the position is Junior Research Fellow under SERB-DST sponsored
project. The details of the vacancy, requisite qualifications and Salary/Emoluments per Month are given below.

a) Procurement, fabrication and assembly of various equipment required for the project
b) Development of experimental test facility for conducting catalytic fixed bed gas phase experiments, Data generation, interpretation and report of test results.

Project Title C₃-C₄ olefin synthesis from ethanol

Initial appointment for 12 months. Depending upon the performance of candidate, further extension will be considered.

Eligibility

Position: Junior Research Fellow

• Essential: (i) B. Tech / B.E in Chemical, Petrochemical, electrochemical Engg with valid GATE score
• Desirable:
• (i) Master’s degree in Chemical Engg with Valid GATE score with Experience in (a) handling gas phase reactions using fixed catalytic reactor (b) Experience in material synthesis.
• Age: 35 years (age relaxation as per GOI norms)
• Only Indian citizen resident of the U.P. is eligible for Junior Research Assistant (JRA) in the research project funded by CST-UP.
• Tenure of the Project : 02 years

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Salary 31000 + HRA
