Description
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is part of a time-bound research project titled “Design and development of a novel fully automated low-cost wire arc additive manufacturing set up for fabricating high strength defense and aerospace grade parts.” This project is sponsored by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and will be conducted in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIITDM Jabalpur. The role involves working on material processing, characterization, experimental and analytical studies, as well as design and simulation related to wire arc additive manufacturing.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a BE/BTech or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks. The maximum age limit is 28 years, with a relaxation of up to 5 years for candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates. The position requires a strong understanding of wire arc additive manufacturing and related fields.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs.37,000/- per month plus 18% HRA (if on-campus accommodation is not provided)
