Eligibility

Position: Junior Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow 1.Name of the Project: Efficient Design of SoC for AR/VR domain :VARCOE/23/02 Qualification and Experiences: ● M.Tech/M.E degree in Computer Science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering, with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (in a 10-point scale). The candidate preferably be GATE qualified in Computer Science Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering. OR B.Tech/B.E or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering with minimum 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA (in a 10-point scale). The candidate must be GATE qualified. [Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (in a 10-point scale) required in all other examinations from class 10 onwards. A single relaxation up to 5% marks in secondary/higher secondary/ equivalent is permitted. ● Have excellent C++/C/Python programming skills. 2.Name of the Project: “Assessing Infrastructure Health Using Extended Reality: VARCOE/23/03 Qualification and Experiences:
● M.Tech/M.E or equivalent degree in Structural Engineering or Computer Science Engineering, with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (in a 10-point scale). The candidate preferably be GATE qualified in Civil Engineering/ Computer Science Engineering. OR
● B.Tech/B.E or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or Computer Science with minimum 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA (in a 10-point scale). The candidate must be GATE qualified. [Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (in a 10-point scale) required in all other examinations from class 10 onwards. A single relaxation up to 5% marks in secondary/higher secondary/equivalent is permitted. 3.Name of the Project: Virtual reality assisted 3D reconstruction and selective powder deposition printing of cranial implants for Neurofibromatosis :VARCOE/23/04 Qualification and Experiences:
● B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering, Robotics engineering, or any relevant engineering disciplines with 65% or 7.00 CGPA with two years of experience (or) B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering, Robotics engineering or any relevant engineering disciplines with 65% or 7.00 CGPA and M. Tech in Mechanical System
● Design/Machine Design/Robotics/Robotics and Automation or any relevant engineering disciplines with 70% or 7.50 CGPA.

4.Name of the Project: Investigations into Application of Low-Intensity- Virtual Reality Intervention in Anti-Depression Therapy:VARCOE/23/05
Qualification and Experiences:
● M.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or having B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
● GATE/NET qualified in ECE
● Good experience in C++/C/Python programming skills. Duration Appointment: Initially for 1 year with possible extension depending on performance Duration of Project: 2 years Name of PI Dr. Sudipta Kumar Mohapatra.

5.Name of the Project: “Developing Formal Methods and AI guided Tools for Security and Privacy Analysis of Virtual-reality (VR) based Systems” : VARCOE/23/06 Qualification and Experiences:
● BTech/MTech in CSE/IT
● Preferably GATE/NET qualified in CSE/IT
● Work experiences: Preferably 2 years Duration Appointment: Initially for 1 year with possible extension depending on performance Duration of Project: 2 years Name of PI Dr. Padma Lochan Bera.

6.Name of the Project: Interactive story/poetry writing and scene generation using Augmented Reality VARCOE/23/01 Qualification and Experiences:
● UG/PG degree in any engineering discipline/ UG/PG degree in appropriate science discipline having strength in Python programming Algorithm Machine learning basics.

Preferably GATE/NET qualified in appropriate discipline. Duration Appointment: Initially for 1 year with possible extension depending on performance Duration of Project: 2 years Name of PI Dr. Manoranajan Satpathy.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• JRF: Rs.37000 + HRA SRF: Rs. 42000 + HRA.
