Eligibility
- Senior Superintendent: Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or its equivalent grade.
- Counsellor: Master’s Degree (with 50%) in psychology (Clinical or Counselling) or Social Work (Medical & Psychiatric) with practical experience.
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with first class from a recognized University /Institute.
- Nursing Assistant: B.Sc. (Nursing) (4-year course) from a recognized Institute/University. Must be registered with the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.
- Jr. Office Assistant (MS): Bachelor’s Degree with 50% in any discipline with excellent computer proficiency in Office Applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.
- Jr. Assistant (MS): Bachelor’s Degree with 50% in any discipline with excellent computer proficiency in Office Applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.
- Attendant: Matriculation or three years Diploma from a recognized University / Institute in a relevant field.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Senior Superintendent: Pay Level-7
- Counsellor: Pay Level-7
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Pay Level-6
- Nursing Assistant: Pay Level-5
- Jr. Office Assistant (MS): Pay Level-4
- Jr. Assistant (MS): Pay Level-3
- Attendant: Pay Level-1
How to Apply
Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria should apply online through the official application portal at https://iiserkolnt.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/login. The application process involves submitting an online application followed by sending a hard copy to IISER Kolkata. Ensure all applications are submitted before the deadlines. After submitting the ONLINE APPLICATIONS, candidates are required to send the hard-copy of the downloaded PDF of the filled application form along with the self-attested copies of the relevant testimonials, certificates, enclosures etc. before the last date by speed post/registered post/courier to the following address, failing which their candidature will not be considered. Application Fee: A Non-refundable fee of ₹500/- (application fee ₹450/- plus registration fee ₹50/-) to be paid through the payment gateway. No application fees (i.e. ₹450/-) for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates/Ex-servicemen/Transgender categories as per GOI Orders, however a registration fee of ₹50/- is to be paid. Application fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Important Date
The last date for receiving online applications is 19th October 2026, by 5.30 pm. The hard copy of the application must reach IISER Kolkata by 29th October 2026, 5.30 pm.
