Himachal Pradesh Natural Resource Management Society APPLICATION FOR POST OF SUBJECT MATTER SPECIALIST World Bank assisted “Integrated Development Project (IDP) for Source Sustainability & Climate Resilient Rain-fed Agriculture” has placed demand for Subject Matter Specialists -(Procurement, Hydrology, Agriculture, Social, and Communication) one position each to Himachal Pradesh Natural Resource Management Society (HPNRMS).

Eligibility
Subject Matter Specialist (Procurement) A university degree or professional qualification in engineering, finance, public administration, law or a related field from a recognized university. Knowledgeable about public procurement system and procurement procedures of the government.
Subject Matter Specialist (Hydrology) Essential: Post Graduate in Geology/Applied Geology/Hydrology or relevant field from a recognized University. Working Experience: Minimum 3 years experience of working in water related sectors in State/National level
Subject Matter Specialist (Agriculture) Essential: A Post Graduate degree or professional qualification in Agriculture, Agronomy, Vegetable Science or a related field from a recognized university. Working Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience relevant to scope and complexity of the assignment. Experience of having worked in Agricultural Departments / Agricultural universities and any other reputed organizations/ Institutions in agricultural sector also be given due weightage.
Subject Matter Specialist (Social) Master’s degree in Social Sciences and Humanities, including Social Work, Social Development, Rural Development/Management, Development Studies/Management, Forestry Management, Gender or equivalent from a recognized university. At least 5 years’ experience of implementing social development strategies related to social mobilsation, community development, social inclusion, tribal development, participatory resource management, gender and women’s economic empowerment in agriculture, forestry, watershed, rural development projects
Subject Matter Specialist (Communication) A university degree or professional qualification in Journalism/Mass Communication/Social Sciences, or other relevant fields from a recognized university. Working Experience : Minimum three years’ experience relevant to the scope, seniority and complexity of the assignment.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Subject Matter Specialist Rs. 60,900/- per month, (Negotiable on higher side depending on the substantive experience the applicant brings to the project) *TA (Travelling Allowance)/ DA (Daily Allowance) would be payable as per entitlement for the said category.

The contract may further be renewed on yearly basis if the performance of the appointee is satisfactory and depending upon the requirement in the Project and services will be co-terminus with the Project period.
