Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is the first University established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999 The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been Accredited with a CGPA of 3.56 on a seven point scale at A++ Grade valid for a period of 7 years from 14-02-2023. It is a teaching and affiliating University with the explicit objective of facilitating and promoting “studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education, for example engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, law, etc. and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.”

Description

Applications are invited for the post of 01 Research Assistant and 01 Field Investigator purely on tenure basis at the USDI and USAR, GGSIPU, East Delhi Campus, New Delhi. The post is created under the Short-term Empirical Research Project titled “Comparative Analysis of Smart Wearable Devices for Divyangjan: Understanding the Need and Affordability of it in Indian Context” (Application No. ICSSR CRP-2023- 1813) sanctioned by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi and under the supervision of undersigned. The details of the vacancy, requisite qualification and salary are mentioned below:

Position

• Research Associate – 01 Post (2 Months)
• Field Investigator (for Delhi) 01 Post (1 Month)

QUALIFICATION:

1. Research Assistant: Post graduate in social science discipline with minimum 55% and NET/SLET/ M.Phil./ Ph.D.
2. Field Investigator: Post graduate in social science discipline with minimum 55%

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

Position:Research Associate Rs. 40,000/- per month Field Investigator (for Delhi) Rs. 30,000/- per month
