Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad is an industrial unit of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. NFC is the only organization in India which caters to the fuel requirements of nuclear power reactors. Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad was conceived in late 60’s as a pivotal industrial arm of the Department of Atomic Energy with the mandate to fuel the nuclear power program of Govt. of India. An ISO certified organization, NFC is the only organization in the world today to have a comprehensive manufacturing cycle from ore to core, involving processing of both Uranium & Zirconium streams under the same roof. NFC’s specialty lies in the manufacturing of nuclear fuel bundles for Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR), Boiling Water Reactors (BWR) and Fast breeder reactors; many reactor core components, various tubes, high purity special materials;

Description

Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad, an Industrial establishment under the Department of Atomic Energy is having its Units at Zirconium Complex, Pazhayakayal, Tuticorin District, Tamil Nadu and NFC-Kota, Rawatbhata, Rajasthan. Online Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following post at Nuclear Fuel Complex- Kota, Rawatbhata, Rajasthan. However, the selected
candidate, on appointment, is liable to serve in any of the other Constituent units of NFC or any of the Units of the Department of Atomic Energy located in different parts of the Country.

Position

• Scientific Officer ‘C’ (General Duty Medical Officer) – 1 Post

Eligibility

• Scientific Officer ‘C’ (General Duty Medical Officer) – M.B.B.S from a recognized university

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Scientific Officer ‘C’ – Rs. 56,100/- (Cell No. 1 in Level 10 of Pay Matrix) Plus NPA (20% of Basic Pay) plus usual Allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees at the place of their posting.

How to Apply

Depending on the number of applications received, if necessary, a Screening Test will be conducted for the eligible candidates in order to shortlist the number of candidates to be called for Interview.
Final selection of the candidates will be based on the performance of the candidates in Interview alone. Screening Test / Interview will be conducted at NFC-Kota, Rawatbhata, Rajasthan. Schedule of the Screening Test / Interview will be notified separately on NFC website
